Information regarding booking courses

We provide courses in aestethic orientations such as music, theater, dance, art, photography & moving images, textile & design and contemporary circus.

The school of Culture is primary for children and youth registered in the city of Borås. We do not offer courses on regular basis to adults. The only course we provides to adults is our choir for adults.

Our courses are mainly located in our three supply points:

• Simonsland, Skarabporgsvägen 1B, centrum
• Hässlehuset, Våglängdsgatan 5, Hässleholmen
• Musikens Hus, Stora vägen 4, Fristad

We cannot always provide courses at your school due to several circumstances such as logistic, schedule, et cetera. Therefore be sure to plan that the course will take place at any of the supply points stated above.

Register an account in StudyAlong

• In order to apply to a course you will need to create an account in our administrative system StudyAlong. External link.
• Click on register.
• Choose "Borås kommun".
• Create a usernamne. Please observe that it is your username as the student's guardian that will be created. If the username is already in use it will turn red and you cannot go forward. Add a number to create a new unique username.
• Please read the stated recommendations when creating a username or password.
• After you have registered your account, click on "add children". Register the students information. You do not need to register an email on the child.
• Repeat the process if you would like to add more students to your family account.
  
• Congratulations! You have created an account and can book courses in our catalogue.

If you have difficulty creating an account, it may be due to following circumstances:

• You need to be registered in the Swedish tax agency in order to create an account in StudyAlong.
  
• Please contact Borås Kulturskola if you do not have a swedish personal identity number, coordination number or if you have protected identity.
• Only the legal guardian of the child can add children to their profile.

• You cannot book or pay for courses in StudyAlong's mobile app.

• Add the course to your cart.
  
• If you are satisfied with your chosen courses press the button "move on" (gå vidare).
• The course remains in the shopping cart for 15 minutes så you will have time to registrer a new account or log in to your account.
• Select a student to your course in the shopping cart.
• Press on "move on" (gå vidare) in order to place your payment for the course.
  
• You can choose between Swedbank Pay (debit card) or swish as your payment.
• In order to complete, check the box that you have read and accepted the terms of use.
